Unbelievable.
According to a document released containing his prepared remarks, BP's Tony Hayward will, among many other things, say the following when he testifies before the House Committee on Energy and Commerce tomorrow:
"How could this happen? How damaging is the spill to the environment? Why is it taking so long to stop the flow of oil & gas into the Gulf? Can we as a society explore for oil & gas in a safer and more reliable way? What is the appropriate regulatory framework for the industry?
We don't yet have answers to all these important questions."
Unbelievable.
